PAIRS Accreditation Can Help You Impact Your Community

We are closer than ever to a tipping point in which advances in the field of relationship education lead to significant, widespread change to society’s approach to relationship health and resilience.

It’s been 35 years since psychologist Virginia Satir strongly encouraged professionals caring for children, youth, singles, couples and families to shift from a therapeutic focus of relieving disorders to relationship education that empowers meaningful human contact, connection and growth.

As the “mother of family therapy,” Satir was well aware of the challenges couples, families and systems of people universally faced relating to self and others within relatively modern peer relationships. Satir was among the first to recognize the urgent need to provide usable tools and strategies to help couples navigate modern relationships.

Licensing and accreditation as a PAIRS Provider is open to faith-based, behavioral health, and other professionals who are committed to meaningfully impacting the communities they serve. Many of the most effective PAIRS Providers began as course participants who were  inspired by the impact PAIRS had on their own life, family and closest relationships.

Pursuing accreditation begins with completing PAIRS Level I Training under the direction of a PAIRS Consultant.

PAIRS Consultants are professionals who have successfully delivered a multitude of PAIRS programs to diverse audiences, consistently receive the highest evaluations from course participants and fellow providers, capably represent the Qualities of an Effective PAIRS Provider, rigorously adhere to ethical standards and licensing commitments, contribute to the overall strength of our global network of providers, and create and sustain collaboration within their agencies, practices, neighborhoods or communities.
